So I was in Sally's a few weeks ago looking for a deep conditioner treatment. Now I know that all of the ingredients are not exactly "Curly Girl", but I was willing to but myself out there a little bit, after all "natural" products are relative anyway, but then again there are some products that I will never let touch my hair again. So Saturday I did my hot oil treatment. (Coconut, EVOO and Castor Oil) I was being so lazy that I actually kept the rinse in my hair all day and went to sleep with it. I know, awful. Woke up this morning finally washed it out and rinse my hair with my Nature's Gate Lavender and Aloe Organic shampoo. (No Sulfates) I then finally used the deep conditioner and let it sit on my hair for hours. Now the directions say five minutes, but I was in the middle of a Law and Order Marathon that I just couldn't pull myself away from...LOL So anyway, I just detatangled and washed it out and my hair feels FANTASTIC! I followed up with my Giovanni Direct Leave-in, Shea Butter mix and sealed the ends with Castor oil. My hair is in four plaits now, as it's cold as a mother in Chicago and I am not feeling hat hair so I will be wearing my wig. Anywho, I will definitely use this product again. I liked the feeling.
